Few facts about Abortion (What I've learned so far)

I've learned that abortion is one of the most common medical procedures that women have in America. More than 40% of women end their pregnancy with abortion. There are 20-30 million legal abortions each year world wide and there are 10-20 abortions per year that are done illegally worldwide. Many women who have illegal abortions die in the process due to complications during the abortion or after. I've also learned that in most states in America, Medicaid does not cover abortions or the costs, and life endangerment.

Why did you choose your topic?

I chose this topic because I wanted to do a project over something important. There were many options like cancer, teen pregnancy,rape/sexual abuse, etc. I didn't want to do any of those topics because I feel that people talk about them too much. I wanted to choose a topic that not a lot of people do projects for. I wanted to talk about abortion because I am concerned that the right of life is being stolen from these babies because of the parents who don't want them and rather not give birth to them. I think every person should have the right to live. Many people turn to abortion because of the tough circumstances they are going through or maybe they are forced to abort their kids or aren't ready for the responsibility of being a parent, but i still think that everyone should have the chance to live.
